When VECROS was founded, the ambition wasn't to make headlines. It was to solve a difficult engineering problem.
In 2026, that journey received global recognition as VECROS co-founders Besta Prem Sai and Rajeshree Deotalu were named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list in the Industry & Manufacturing category.
The recognition is meaningful not because of the title, but because of what it represents.
VECROS was built on the belief that India could create world-class autonomous systems. Besta's research into GPS-independent navigation laid the foundation for the company, while Rajeshree brought her expertise in advanced robotics to develop JETPIX, VECROS' proprietary autonomy engine. Together, they set out to build drones that could operate intelligently in environments where traditional navigation systems fall short.
Years were spent designing, testing, and rebuilding. Circuit boards went through multiple revisions. Prototypes failed. Sensors behaved unpredictably outside controlled environments. Progress often came through persistence rather than breakthroughs. What exists today is the result of countless iterations and a team that refused to stop building.
That effort has grown into a full-stack autonomous systems company serving industries such as warehousing, construction, and defence. VECROS' ecosystem of products—including JETCORE, JETCORE FC, Daughter Board, and JETPIX—has helped establish the company as one of India's emerging deep-tech innovators. Along the way, VECROS has been featured on Shark Tank India, secured institutional backing, and been selected for the iDEX Defence India programme.
While the Forbes recognition marks an important milestone, it is not the destination.
The future of aerial robotics will belong to systems that can think, navigate, and make decisions autonomously. Building that future remains the mission that drives Vecros every day.
This recognition belongs not only to the founders, but also to the engineers, partners, investors, customers, and supporters who have been part of the journey.
We're grateful for how far we've come and even more excited about what comes next.
From India, for the world.
